Slide out help! I see daylight!

Just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about what's going on here. Camper is level according to all levels. We've never had this happen before. With that said, there is no manual slideout mechanism anymore, we have to do it manually from the underside. Zero obstructions in the way! If you need more photos, can get them in the daylight tomorrow! The left side when facing the inside of the slideout, doesn't have a gap, the right side has about 1.5-2" gap.

Not quite sure what is going on here.
No manual mechanism?
Hopefully if you tow your slide is secured during travel!

Seals are bad, or it needs some adjustment???

Also do you mean no power mechanism but you do it manually now?

Talking

Sprey, electric mechanism is what I meant!!

No, I'm definitely not so irresponsible that I would put my own life and other people's at risk to move the travel trailer.

Apparently I need a smiley face there to stop rude comments because you cannot tell someone's tone in text. Sorry, I was not being rude, just stating I wouldn't ever think about driving it when it could harm someone if anyone was confused about wording. Thanks!

Yes, no power mechanism is what I actually meant, I'm chronically ill and exhausted and didn't reread what I wrote. Thanks!

The slide mechanism you have...is it Schwintek? A track at the top and bottom with an infinite up-and-down groove cut into it? If so, the spur gear on the top track probably slipped. I think the only way to fix it if it is that, is removing the motors and realigning it. As far as I know, the only procedure for aligning slides with that system is from side-to-side. Nothing top to bottom.

Thanks for the info, will pass it along! Not sure if it's a Schwintek or not, I'm not the one actually working on it, my dad is!

Yes, no power, sorry! Seals just got replaced about 3 months ago, so those are fine, it's closed at the bottom too is the weird thing, just the left side of the top has a gap.
