I did a short "study" on these after I purchased my trailer. I had people walk in the TT while I stood outside and watched the slide. Manufacturers don't recommend them and I watched the "proof" which is why I agree. If your TT is not stabilized, such as one of the stabilizers shifting (which will happen) then you are likely to get a bounce against the slide out stabilizers; which of course could bend the extenders.
