wondering how long you should leave slide outs out?

Mine is out for months at a time at home and I’m out for 10 weeks in the spring & 10 in the fall. It’s in and out approximately 7-8 times per trip. I do carry an extra motor just in case but I’ve never had to install it and it’s now 14 years used.
