Slide Ripped the Lino!

We went into our trailer to clean it out in prep for winterizing and noted two pieces of lino were ripped up on the floor.

We presume that when we opened the slide, something caught on it and pulled it up. But its so strange. Tried looking under the slide, but couldn't see anything.

Anyone else have this issue?

have someone close the slide and go inside and look at the spot that is torn. Observe what is doing it. You can't hurt it anymore than you have already.

There has to be something there doing it.

Is your slide overloaded with stuff on it?

Two ripped linoleum from slide-out stories in one week on the JOF. I'm going to check mine next time I'm out...

Here is a pic if the screw. You can see outside when slide is open. Only a week old camper

Looks like a pebble got lodged between the linoleum and the slide. I looked at ours today when we took delivery and I mentioned to the service manager at the dealer about these 2 linoleum tears. He said either a screw or a pebble are common causes. So with that said, before we retract ours, the floor will get swept really well.

Our kitchen slide rubs on the floor when it goes in or out on the front edge. Three different dealers can't fix it so we live with it.
