Slide travel lock during winter

Is it ok to store the trailer for the winter with the slide lock installed? Of course the slide will be retracted but will the pressure of the lock be a good or bad thing?

The lock should be fine but THE MOST IMPORTANT THING is to make sure that you use an RV silicone spray on all the rubber gasket seals before you close it up for the season. If you don't they'll be stuck together and can/will rip apart when you open it up in the spring.
