Slideout inside tight at top, 1" gap at bottom

My rack and pinion slide out fits snug and even on outside, but on inside is tight at top and 1" gap at bottom. I did the adjustment to raise and lower slide, but it did not change the gaps inside (maybe top not quite so tight, but nothing to 1" gap in bottom (or very little). But there was a hugh gap on outside top when closed. So I adjusted it back to where it was
Will adjusting the Master Rack Arm in picture allow the slide to pull out more on bottom. Are the nuts stopping it from opening more?

Not sure what the hell is going on.
Thanks for time
Dean
