Small cut in enclosed underbelly

So I called the dealer about the small cut out in the underside of my enclosed underbelly. Here is my question, the sales manager told me it should be there. Reason is so the under side of the trailer could breath. So condensation does not build up in the enclosed under belly. Does this sound normal to everyone , have you heard of this and does anyone else have this.

That was some fast talking by the salesman. Our cover did not have a cut in it for this purpose.Buy some black duct tape and cover up the cut. No big deal. If there is no temperature difference under the trailer compared to the ambient temperature there won't be condensation.

Mine was not a cut. Just a poorly attached access panel to get at the wardrobe slide motor for service or manual operation. Just needed a few more screws to get it reasonably flush so mice, bees, wasps or whatever dont get in..
