Small Dinette Table

Hey all, we're picking up a new 174BH this weekend. Switching over from a pop up. This model is just perfect for us, except one little nit is the dining table is really too small for 4 people.

We like to eat outside as much as possible, but in Colorado it can be quite cold in the morning and it's nicer sometimes to keep the kids inside as they are still pretty young.

When they get older, we definitely won't all be fitting there. I'm wondering if anyone has done anything to extend the table? Our pop up had an extension you could put in. I'm thinking about making something like that but of course it will be hard to match the existing table so part of me wants to just make a larger one with a hinged fold up piece that secures underneath.

The only other issue would be seating. I could probably just use a small camp stool and be fine.

Anyway just curious if anyone else has done something like this?

I haven't but I really like your idea of an extension and who cares if it doesn't match exactly " your camping " and the food tastes just as good.

You have room for a little fold up table and two chairs.
That is unless the cook still needs to move around..
We have a folding camp table that might fit. I havent tried it.

That way you can use it inside and also outside.. I find that we use our little Helinox table outside alot. Its more cocktail height so not good for eating.

Yeah I will probably use a little camp stool and sit on the end and it will work for now. We'll figure something else out in the future.

Hi there! so I'm just following up on this, what did you end up doing as a mod for the smaller dinette for the 175BH? That's my main concern. other than that, ready to pull the trigger. Sold my popup, and now i'm getting antsy for the 2021 season! lol
