Solar Hookup - Hardwire

My Jayco is prewired and ready for Solar, and I was going to have a company install a 200w unit, however it was suggested that I hardwire it instead of hooking through the pre-wired zamp system, mainly to save on the cost of having it hooked up.
Any suggestions?

You did not say which model you own or year. Some with more knowledge could help but the first step of knowing which one you own.

I have read before that some have suggested that the pre-wired units do not have wiring with enough capacity to carry large loads.

To me, the whole point of the pre-wiring is to enclose it inside the trailer so you don't have to run wires down the side, take off something to hide them, drill holes in the roof, etc.

What does the sticker say?

My eagle is prewired for solar on the roof and in the nose.

Also do you know how much solar you want?

My roof is prewired for a kit that says upto 30amps but there are better options and I’m going to put up 960 watts so my residential fridge could run (with decent weather) as long as there is sun.
