Solar Prep?

I have a 2016 JayFlight that came standard with "solar prep". Can someone please tell me what that really means? What was installed at the factory, and what more would need to be done to actually use solar panels?

Thanks,

John

On mine it means they wired a plug on the tongue so I can plug in a briefcase solar unit.

Solar Prep?

It usually means just the wiring. Some will have the wires run to the roof, and inside to a wall location for the charge controller install. Some will have a port down low to plug in a briefcase(panels and controller all in one unit) style charger. Some will have both.
Someone will probably be able to tell you which with if you include the model you’re inquiring about.

Solar Prep 2017 Eagle HT fifth wheel

So I picked up a Renogy panel kit and will be looking for the rooftop wires. Any ideas where they are located? Do they terminate behind the fuse box, in the wall behind the Water and tank monitors and switches or near the battery compartment
