Sometimes I just shake my head...

So, we get to our holiday weekend destination yesterday. I plug in our electrical tester and discover that the plug has reversed polarity. I inform an employee and he proceeds to call another to come with the tools required to make a quick repair. The new guy shows up in short order and I explain the ditto him. He explains that he's actually a plumber by trade and doesn't actually understand what I'm telling him. So, I explain what he needs to do. I also explain that it's a problem with both receptacles (this is the electric pole for two sites). He proceeds to make the repair. When he's finished, I start to plug in and he points out that I have to use the one closest to the other site. He didn't repair both. When I asked him why he didn't repair both, he said the next guy wouldn't have one of those testers, so he didn't have to fix it. Lol. Really? Joke's on him. The other guy showed up and broke out his tester, too.

Three stooges answer, just turn your plug 180 degrees.
Nuk-nuk-nuk.

He did explain that he was a plumber and not an electrician. And maybe (just maybe) the entire camp ground was wired backwards.

Hope he doesn't do plumbing in reverse!
