Sound system issue

I bought a used 2007 Jayco 29Y. It has an entertainment system that has a very annoying issue. The system that came wih the unit plays DVDs, CDs, and radio plus it has an aux input for MP3 player. One speaker is significantly louder than the others. I had tried to lower the setting on that one channel to bring the rest into balance but that didn't work enough, that channel still overpowered the other channels. At first I thought is was the individual speaker, so I tested them by switching the speaker wires around. Whatever speaker was plugged into one channel was the loud one, so I concluded the problem was with the system itself.

The dealer replaced the system with another that was almost identical to the old one. Now I have two issues. The display is so bright that I can't read what it says unless I climb up and look at the display from the top. This is a minor issue that I can live with. The other problem is I still have one speaker louder than the others. I can't seem to find a replacement system that does all the things this system does.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Splice the wires so both speakers are powered from the same channel.

My guess is that there is a resistance in the speaker wiring that is causing some speakers to sound softer than others.

I'm confused you still have a channel volume issue after replacing the head unit. have you checked....

1) Are the speakers matched?
2) Is the speaker wire polarity correct at both ends.
3) Is the + speaker wire connected to the + terminal of the speaker.
4) If you have (2) or (3) way speakers....are all the individual speakers working in each?
