Spare Keys

What is the best way to get a spare set of trailer keys (doors and storage)?

Fot the doors might have to contact the manufacture of the lock. for storage doors almost and RV parts stors has the CH751 key that most trailers have

A good lock smith can make one. It might you $8.00 but they can do it. Also some good hardware stores carry a wide variety of key blands.

You can order them directly from some lock manufacturers. I ordered some spares from Bauer and they worked great. http://www.bauerproducts.com/

I too have gotten keys from Bauer. They work fine. For storage a lot of trailers come with the CH751 key. I replaced these, except for the outside shower door, with a matched set of 4 tubular cam locks. I transferred them from my 26BH when I got the 27DSRL and cannot recall where I got them. What is agrivating about them is that you cannot get the key out unless they are in the locked position. They were about $25.00

It might be a good idea to get rid of key #751 there are 1,000s of them out there.

Use the Bauer link for door keys... almost every camper out there has a ch-751 on his keyring. so either change the lock sets out or just ask a neighbor.
