Question Spare Tire?

I just took possession of my new 2013 32BHDS last week and for the life of me I can't find the spare tire anywhere. I can't even find a mount to put the spare. Nothing on the undercarriage and nothing on the rear bumper. Did I miss something?

The spare tire is an option. Look on your MSRP sheet and see if it is listed on there. My trailer does not have a spare either . The dealer did not order it with that option. One day I will order a wheel and get a bumper mount tire carrier. The factory option spare would be under the trailer where the outside kitchen is located.

Thanks for the quick response. We stepped inside well over 70 trailers that day. I guess I missed it on this particular one when we bought it. I saw it on several of the other models and guess just assumed they all had em. Lesson learned. At least i got the outside kitchen I wanted! :0

Our dealer threw it in with the purchase after I mentioned that it didn't have one!

I never go anywhere without a spare for anything I tow. Maybe paranoid, but there's too many hazards out there and I'd rather not leave anything along the side of the road while getting a tire fixed.

On my 2010 32BHDS the spare tire is mounted underneath the TT . It is just to the left of the bathroom door. I have a silver crank handle that I insert into the cutout in order to lower my spare.

When you get a spare tire mount it under the trailer. The bumpers can barely hold themselves let alone the weight of a tire and wheel.

I think you'll find that the spare tire is optional with almost all manufacturers, not just Jayco.
