Spare wires - for what?

Crawling around under our 28RLS recently, I noticed for the first time three wires on the left side, located between the frame rail and the aluminum trim. They look to be 12 gauge, one each red, brown and black. All are individually taped and then bundled together. My assumption is that they are for some optional accessory, but I can’t imagine what it would be in that location, aft of the waste drains, ahead of the first rear wheel. Any ideas?

Do you have the electric stabilizers? They may also be for another floor-plan.

I imagine Jayco, like many manufacturers, have their wiring harnesses pre-made, possibly bought in from a 3rd party

It makes economic sense to keep the number of variations to a minimum, so they will have just one or two stock harnesses, with all the possible options included. If you don't have that particular option, they don't connect those wires.

The other possible explanation is that somebody at the plant has a wicked sense of humour, and likes to keep you guessing :-)
