Spec Height

Does the height of the trailer listed on the specs include the AC on the roof?

Yes. The height listed should be to the top of the A/C unless mods have been made such as different sized wheels.

Measure it yourself! and add 12" for clearance. I don't trust Jayco to do anything right, like they specify 82psi for the tires, yeah, right!

I don't know about anybody else but I measured our trailer from the ground to top of Air Conditioner and it was 134 inches. Pulled it up on Jayco website and it had height was 134 inches. Can't get much closer than that. Now I put a we bolt kit on it and have not measured it since so it might have gone up a inch or two. don't know.

What prompted the question was I was taking it from storage to a Do-it-yourself car wash with bays that were about 18 feet high and 12 feet wide so I was not really that concerned just curious. Took it out this morning and did measure it myself and got the same 134 inches to top of A/C - Specs said 11 feet or 132 inches so looks like the specs are pretty accurate (Probably more accurate than my measurement because hard to tell exactly where the top of the A/C was standing on the ladder beside the unit).

Thanks all for the responses.

Yes, at least on my 2017 Whitehawk. I measured using a laser level and it was just a about exact. But, in areas where clearance is a close concern be aware that the radio antenna (even though it has a spring) might be higher. My concern would be having it catch on something if I ever needed to back up. Mine was 2 3/4 inches higher.

Thanks. I thought about the antenna but because of the spring wasn’t concerned. You made me think if it caught on something going forward it could be ripped of trying to back up. Thanks for the extra measurement. Looks like I need to stay away from any overhang under 11 feet 6 inches to be confident.
