Squeaky slide

Hello all

Went to pick up my '17 Jay Flight 267 BHSW and during the PDI I discovered that the slide made a squeaking noise when sliding in and out. The delivery specialist assured me that they could take care of it and didn't seem concerned about it. I've never owned a camper with an automatic slide so I really didn't give it another thought and completed the delivery. Well after I was done with their finance guy I was approached by the dealership's Quality Control Foreman and was told that they were looking into the slide situation and needed another "20 to 30 minutes" to finish up. After 2 hours had passed and nobody coming to tell me anything I went to find the QCF. I'm a little confused why it was taking so long. At this point I was then asked to come out to the camper and found that 2 technicians had been working on it. They had "adjusted both sides of the slide and brackets to straighten out the slide. Removed part of underbelly to lubricate tracks for slide. Lubricate entirety of both arms that hold the slide. Jacked up slide and tightened the leveling bolts on the slide." Now the slide did make less noise but did not stop squeaking completely so I asked the 2 techs does a slide generally make noises when its going in and out? Again I've never been around a camper with an auto slide. Both of them said some do.
So should I be worried about this camper's slide mechanism?

Every TT/RV is different in which part squeaks/groans/moans/etc., when it moves. Most slides do make noise when being extended or retracted, some more than others. I use either lithium grease or dry graphite lube on the tracks to make things a bit easier. I usually spend 30-60 min a trip lubing things after I set up so I don't have to "set up" the TT back home to do the lube maint.

I took our TT in for some warranty work, mentioned it made some groans and moans, tech said it needed some adjustments. They also had to adjust it due to some exterior material on the slide underside being cracked/torn from not being centered/balanced/ on the tracks from the factory.
