Squirrel in my AC.

We spent our first night in the TT Friday night(seasonal lot)Around 1:30 AM I heard a noise coming from the AC(wasn't on)so I got up and stood underneath the AC I could hear a scratching noise, noise stopped so I went back to bed.Saturday I removed the shroud from the AC and could see a bunch of chewed up black styrofoam. In the frame for the AC unit there are a bunch of openings about 1 1/2" high by 2 1/2"long,5 openings per side, figured the little devil was getting in through there.I covered them with duct tape for now.Saturday night we could hear something running around on the roof, must be a flying squirrel.Anybody else have this problem?

Not from an airborne squirrel, but a couple years ago, one went up on the roof with the winter cover still on, and chewed a hole in the side fins of the shroud. He either never went in, or didn't find anything appetizing in there. Just ruined the shroud a bit. Still looking for the little rascal!
