Stabilizer jacks

Is there any benefit to adding additional ones like before and after wheels? Just trying to take all motion and rocking out when set up on our seasonal site for 4 months. I have the wheel chocks that spread between the tires but only one side. Would adding another one on the other side help?

Thanks
Robert

I experimented with placing a set of jack stands in front and behind ny axles to help reduce bounce while camping. It did help some. But since we do not seasonal camp I felt it was not enough of an improvemnt to do this everytime we weekend camp.

Minimize how far you crank down jacks as much as you can. We have our camper set up on a seasonal site too and I put concrete blocks and wood planks under my jacks to the point it only took just a little or next to no turn to put pressure on them. Very little to no movement can be felt with 4 of us in the camper.

+1. I cut a few extra blocks made from pressure treated 4x6 to put under the corner jacks and it made a big difference on our last outing.

Here's what cured our bouncing and got the wife to talk to me again..

Installed two extra BAL stabilizer jacks. One on each side just in front of the tires. Made sure the tire pressure was 65 PSI. Use BAL scissor chocks on both sides of the trailer. Every few days recheck the tightness of the jacks. trailers will shift a little and when it rains the ground will shift some.

Finally some people use stabilizer struts like these :

Happy trails,

For my 36BHDS it took 2 blocks at each jack. I had several 2x6 and 1x6 pre-cut to make up the difference between the blocks and jacks. I also dug down a few inches in the ground to minimize the settling.
