Stabilizer jacks

I noticed on my last trip it was a little hard to get the stabilizer jacks to go up and down wanted to know what was the best Lubrication for them

I have used a quick shot of white lithium grease before and it seems to do the trick. You definitely want to use something that does not attract moisture or dust as some can do.

I used basic EP grease on the threads and 3-1 oil on the joints. Smooth as silk. Will have to watch and see the dirt pickup, will clean as necessary. Just another routine maintenance item!

I've always just used plain old motor oil on the stabilizer of all my trailers.

WD-40, but have thought about trying motorcycle chain wax.

I use a product called Tri-Flow, which is an aerosol spray of teflon. After a few minutes, it is completely dry, will not attract dirt, and keeps the threads lubed. Application is about once a month or so.

If they're hard to operate I'd clean them first. Before I re-lube mine I spray them down with carb cleaner to flush away the old lube and any grit that's accumulated. I don't think WD-40 is a good product for the jacks, as mentioned above a dry lube is best.

That's what I thought to use a dry lubricant over something that's wet That would attract dirt. Just was not sure What product to use to clean the jacks and which brand lubricant to use.
