I had some 4x4 landscape timbers around the house and made 6 sets of these. 10" in length and secured by 5/16 threaded rod, washers n nuts. Stacks great in front storage bin.

I took 1 2 by 12 and 2 2 by 8s and cut them all in steps from 12 to 10 to 8 inches in length then screwed them together and installed rubber to the bottom and the top of them. When I get ready to put the jacks down I put them under and center them and once they are down they don't move on the rubber. the 4 corner stabilizers I use lego blocks under

First of all our Jayco sits way closer to the ground than the Heartland we had. We also have put another set of BAL in front of the wheels. I also have made cross stab and we put the BAL on some 4x4 with plywood and it is stable. Made some wood 4x4 with all thread rod between the wheels and it does not move.

How are the 30" stabilizers working for you? I would love to have something that is less annoying than setting up wood blocks or legos every time you set up.

What about mounting the block to the bottom of the stabilizer but using something that can shear off if it catches on something? Plastic bolt or zip tie to hold the foot on.

Then the foot will be permanently attached and if you have clearance issues it won't pull off the stabilizer.
