Stabilizers

Hi, we just purchased the 2020 330 RSTS. it is a great camper but we noticed it had movement while we were inside. Did research and decided on the Bal stabilizer bars and also Bal Xchock wheel chocks. I installed the stabilizer bars and what a difference. it took out almost all of the side to side movement. I was able to attach them to the trailer hitch with stainless steel bolts with out drilling. I also added the 7500 lb. scissor jacks. (drilling was required). The xchock also helped in the front to rear movement. I also want to keep as wide a stance on the scissor jacks so that is why the plastics blocks are high. I recommend these to anyone experiencing movement inside their campers. Hope the pics came through.

Update: our camper came with the auto levelers, so there are no rear stabilizers. curious to know about anyone who has the just the stabilizers how they do with movement.

I only have a 32 ft. and use a 8 point leveling system with tires slightly of the ground.
No movement at all and don't use cross-stabilizers.

We just purchased the same 2020 330rsts. My plan is to add the lippert electric jacks to the rear. They will be similar to the front Electric jacks and have some stability braces built into the system.

I was talking to the parts department this morning regarding the BAL stabilizer bars and X-Chocks. They told me both were over kill and wouldn’t make much of a difference than using just one of them.

Any feedback on using both?

At the price of the xchocks it worth it to me using them. The stabilizer bars were the major improvement. I dont mind the overkill for the xchocks but the stabalizer bars are a MUST.

Did you put the bars on the front and back or just the front?

The Steadyfast system is probably my next big purchase.

I placed them on the back. I put pictures of them in the beginning of the post.

What size for a 26bh

The Bal stabilizers look like a good investment.
But I see 17”, 20”, etc.

How does one choose the correct size? We have a 264bhw, with scissor jacks on all 4 corners. Would these reduce the wiggle?

They are extendable/collapsible .

I would measure from the foot of the scissor Jack to the spot you would have to mount the other end. That will tell you what the minimum length should be. I ordered 23216 and was pleased with the adjustment ability. Still had a lot of adjustment rod left.
I noticed major improvement on mine so I think you will too.
