Static Cling vs Fiberglass sides - Yikes

We have a Jayco Eagle 322FKS and placed two static clings (no adhesive) on the back of the trailer of our favorite football teams. They were on there for a couple of years when I noticed that around the edges the static clings were turning brown. I removed the clings and they were a bit dried out, but came off OK.
BUT, the static clings left a brown outline on the back of the camper. I've tried a few different cleaners, but no luck. Any suggestions on how to remove the brown outlines? I am concerned that the edge of the static clings (which were clear, then turned brown) has baked the coating of the fiberglass. As an FYI, this side of the camper when parked in our yard, faces south.

Might try some polishing compound first, then some rubbing compound if the polishing compound doesn't remove. Then wax if one of these remove the brown stuff.
