Steadyfast system has arrived!

Well, the FedEx guy dropped off my Steadyfast system today. I will hopefully be doing the install this weekend, and then trying it out the next!

For those of you who have installed this system, do you have any tips/tricks?

I'll give a full report once it's all hooked up and operational.

Waiting to see the results. Poor mans solution, i.e. additional jack stands in front of the wheels did not work out. Underbelly wrap won't allow.

I actually installed a third set of jacks in front of the wheels a couple of weeks ago. I have the enclosed underbelly as well. They helped, but didn't take out as much shake as I wanted.

As far as mounting the third jacks, I just used the two outside self tapping bolts. The inside ones aren't really needed.

No pics yet... it's all still in the box. Check them out here though -

The same idea as the JT Strongarm setup, but a slightly different design. Easier to install, and easier to set-up/tear-down with each use.

Did the install this afternoon. Took about three hours by myself. The first 1/4 of it took about an hour and a half, but after that I knew what I was doing and was able to finish up pretty quickly. I won't know exactly how it works until next weekend when we go camping, but I can tell you that all of the parts are very high quality. All of the nuts and bolts were labeled as to where they went, which made installation very easy. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Take some pics of the system once you are set-up at the campground.

I was thinking of getting the steadyfast system for my 324BHDS. How do you like yours? Is it still doing well?

Sorry to revive an old thread but I just bought a Steadyfast system and would also love to see pictures of your install, especially if you have an enclosed underbelly on your TT. Can't really say I'm looking forward to messing with 300 little zip screws!

I will try and get some pictures the next time I see my camper so that you have an idea of what the install looks like. I can say though that I didn't have to remove any of the enclosed underbelly to do any of the install. I used the self tapping screws that came with the kit and just made sure to stay away from the plumbing. I think I did stick my fingers up under the underbelly to make sure that there was nothing right on the frame rail above where I was drilling, but it was pretty easy. I think that I could actually see in between the gaps for most of the brackets; there was only one where I had to do some guesswork.

That's great to hear, I was worried about that plastic! I was thinking I may pull out a couple just to give me some sight line to the frame and make sure we're clear. Thanks for posting back, I'll let you know how it goes!

I installed my 2 point (basic) Steadyfast System a couple of months ago. It made all the difference in the world for stabilizing my 2009 32BHDS. It was completely solid on my concrete driveway. I presently have it on grass and sand in and it has taken out 85 to 90% of the shake. I think my problem is with my wood blocks. I feel that it was a well spent $300.00 to get it to my door. Steadyfast is with you all the way if you have any problems/concerns with the system. Steadyfast had a special going for $310.00 with free shipping a few weeks back. I asked for and got a $10.00 discount for either old age or my retired military discount. Great experience so far.
