Step Lighting

When I purchased my 2018 Jay Flight 29RLDS I in stalled Morryde RV steps. I removed the factory step and covered the hole with aluminum and painted to match the bottom skirt. I forgot about the step lighting until recently. I ordered blue LED light bars from Oznium and placed them at the bottom edge of the skirt. Traced out the wiring. Found that the awning and old step light was 2 separate wires in the switch panel. Added another single JRV style switch and now have a switch for steps only. Removed the old step light spliced and extended wiring to reach the new light. Run the wire in flexible tubing for wire. Sealed the holes in the frame with lap sealant. Another mod done.

Nice job! Bright enough to see the stairs but not too bright as to light up your whole site.
