Still waiting for TT

Ordered 4/12/16 & still not ready for pick up. Supposed to be off production line the week of the 20th of June & than delivered to dealership (3 miles away) for PDI. Its been over 10 weeks now. I was told 6-8 weeks upon purchase. They must be building an extra good one for me or more likely they are swamped with orders. Mine was one of 17 Jay feathers ordered. I hope I get it before the middle of July otherwise my trip plans will be slightly Fubar. Phone called 2x this week & not delivered yet. Maybe Friday I'll get a call but I don't thinks so.

I'm in the same boat as you are. Mine was ordered on April 8th and still not off the line as I have been told. The thing that worries me is a member here specified in another thread that Jayco shuts down production for the first two weeks in July. I sorta, kinda think that if our units are not ready by next Thursday the 30th, we will be SOL until at least the third week in July or quite possibly until sometime in August.

SAY IT AINT SO! I sure hope we get our units by next week. If it takes until August than I will have regrets I bought it this year & would have waited till April 2017 but it is what it is. I will just have to alter my travel plans & cut the trip short or change it completely. I was hoping to get on the road late July & escape the Florida heat.

Just got word its off the line & heading to dealership Monday than wait for PDI. Probably will need to wait until after July 4th weekend now as I had plans for that weekend. I originally was hoping to pick it up early next week (Tuesday)

That's fabulous news! Here's hoping the PDI and your initial personal PDI goes smooth. If you haven't already done so, I strongly suggest that you print out a copy of the PDI checklist linked below and bring with you at pick-up. Please check back here when delivery and maybe even your maiden voyage is complete to let us all know how things went. Have fun!

Maybe good bye summer but there's still plenty of camping to do in the fall....

We are Good Sam life members and have the roadside assistance thru them already. I haven't looked at insurance policies yet, will add to the car/homeowners of course, but will need to get quotes for additional insurance.

Earlier this AM I spoke to Jamie at Indiana RV Connection in Middlebury, IN and after a bit of searching, she told me my TH came in on the 23rd of June and is and has been ready for pick-up since this past Monday. I am absolutely thrilled and the DW, our baby girl Bella (white soft coated Wheaton Terrier or, should I say, terrorist? ) and I will be heading East from CA by next Wednesday the 6th. We have a PDI appointment set up for Monday the 11th. Out of courtesy, I sent Jamie a copy of the fabulous PDI check list from this venue in hopes they will be a bit extra thorough on their internal PDI or maybe even go back and double check. I will of course, update you all as to how things go. Even though I am a nervous wreck, I am really trying to be positive that all will work out fine regarding the whole delivery process.

Congrates on the T.T. I will be making that trip to see Jamie also . I'm leaving on the 5th & will try to set up a Friday PDI. Hopefully all will be well & I'll be camping for 2 days at a full hook up CS close to the Jayco factory to make sure it all works in real life, than back to Floryda land.

Finally Got my T.T.

"Picked her up on a Thursday night, hope'n & a prayin I can hold her tight" YUP that's what I was singing. I got her camped for free right outside the gates of the Indiana RV connection, Middlebury is a beautiful area, with free water & electric. I had spent 2 nights there running it through & getting used to her. I had brought my own Reese WD/anti sway hitch & had some problems setting it up. I had to relocate some stuff on the frame for the cam assemblies to mount & also found out that the Jayco support chains were too short for the F 150 with the hitch assembly that Reese supplies. I went to a local Ace & bought 2 pieces of chain (7 links) & clamps so I could extend it. It took me a good length of the day on Friday to install, but I did it & was on the road back home Sat am at 6;30. All works without issue & inspection was great. I would suggest having 2 people doing the PDI if I were to do it again, the checklist was great BTW. Got home Sunday at 6:30 PM. Not bad Middlebury In to Orlando, Fl. I stopped in N. Ga & utilized the local Walmart for an overnight. This was my initiation as a first time RV'r. It was & still is a learning experience, who said your to old to learn new tricks?

I'm going to bring this thread back from the dead. Ordered May 9TH, was told 6 to 8 weeks. About 6 weeks into the wait, I sold my old TT. After the 8 weeks I was told mid September. That came and went and there was no TT to be had. I was told that it would be coming off the assembly line on October 10th. I got the call Monday October 17th that it was finally here. We are going today to LOOK at it. It won't be coming home with us because I don't store it at home in the winter and I gave up my indoor heated storage unit because I wasn't sure I would even have a camper this year. In the middle of last week I gave my last camping reservations that were scheduled for this weekend to a buddy as there were no sites available at that campground and he and his family wanted to do their last outing of the year there. So, the dealer said they would store it on their lot (outdoors) and start my warranty in the spring when I pick it up for the season. It's been really nice out lately and of course today, it is nasty and raining. This thing better at least be exactly how I ordered it!!
