Storage compartment wires?

What is this wire for? I found it in the front storage on the left (road) side of the trailer. They are coming out of the front wall. Not sure where is goes or what it connects to.

I'm pretty sure that's the "pre-wired" backup camera wire. I've not found where it comes out the back yet

What is that connector supposed to connect to then? A wireless transmitter?

I wish I knew, I'm just regurgitating what I've read on other forums. I myself figured if I was going to use it I'd just buy a wireless camera system. Why would I need a wire? I think they just threw it in so they could slap another sticker on the trailer. I've never seen someone yet post up actually using that wire. Just like the pre wired for solar claim that is really just that small little connection right next to battery for a tiny battery charging panel. Anyone going solar knows you have to run all new heavier gauge wire and complete system, but yet again, another sticker they got to slap on trailer.

What options are available that you didn't get? Electric jacks?

My guess is the cable is for an option you don't have and not a wireless backup camera.

I think it might be the wire for the sway command.

The funniest part is that it's not in the manual, the dealer has no clue, and I've googled the crap out of it and THIS thread is the only one I've found.

I was thinking of calling or emailing Jayco to get an answer. They should be able to tell us.

That is apparently for the Sway Command module that mounts right over top of the sticker in the front. Makes sense as the rear camera pre-wiring is just a power source in the rear center marker light for wireless cameras.

I slightly agree here but I am unsure... I have seen a LOT of videos that show the install of the sway command. That is the area that they say...

Okay, so THIS video confirms it basically that it's the sway command...

1:30 shows the same connectors it looks like...

This is what I have in my front storage compartment: [/IMG]

And this is what's on the other side: [/IMG]

It's a 2017 29QBS

I will also add that the sway command is WONDERFUL! I have tried to induce sway in a test and it went left to right two times very lightly and it kicked in stopping the sway... This is very helpful especially towing with a Jeep Wrangler...
