Not a fan of a cover. Trailers are made to be exposed to the elements. Most covers dont last and if they do last they are 400 dollars and usually get damage when taking them off and on. Just a good coat of wax and keep it clean.

We bought the Elements Brand form Camping World and it is doing a good job! I would not leave my trailer uncovered during the monsoon season here in the Seattle area as it starts around September 15th and ends in early July.

A cover will add to the life of your new trailers' roof!

I agree with Murff - on the second off-season using an ADCO All-Climate Wind Designer Tyvek cover. You are fairly close to me and I think in this area the cover is helpful to keep all the leaves and pine needles from accumulating in the gutters and around the vents/antennas on the roof. If you are careful to pad any sharp corners you should have no trouble getting several years out of good cover. I got mine directly from ADCO when they had a fall sale running - was $245 delivered.

Here's a picture of a familys member 1997 class A that has been stored the last 15 years in south Florida. Washed and waxed then covered in the open for 6 months during the summer. Still has the original roof. This is exactly why I'm a believer in covers. When I go to the storage lot here and look at newer units that don't use covers, it's a no brainer for me. He's been using the 800.00 goldline cover the last 6 years and is on his 3rd cover. The cheaper covers I tried down here in the south, is usually a ball of shredded mess after 3 months, so I guess you get what you pay for.

ADCO here. I've used them on my last two RVs with the exception of two years. The two years I didn't cover the difference was undeniable.

When I compare the condition of my trailer to others in the storage yard that are uncovered, I think the window gaskets and surfaces that can suffer from exposure look noticeably better on my trailer than most of the other units.

I've got 5 years on my current cover. Sure, the cover is starting to show its age at the drain extensions bumper corners and a seam or two but I will probably keep it another year or two. It might go longer but I hate the stereotypical trashy looking trailer.

I just bought a 2016 trailer and didn't cover yet this winter, we are having a mild one so far. I know it can protect against the rain and sun but the extreme dips in temperatures and constant wind blowing the cover around wearing against the trailer is my concern. I had a hybrid for 15 years and covered it some winters but it always had wear marks caused from the cover especially on the corners of my roof which caused leaks. If there is a cover that is light enough to not cause wear marks but durable enough to withistand our strong winds I would buy it. Any suggestions?
