suggestion for better way

I am looking for better way to squeeze in 6 bike and 2 kayaks. Rack is mounted to frame rails and made of aluminum. With 6 bikes, TW went down by 200#.

What about the roof of the Sequoia? Can you get a 4 bike rack for that? Have you seen the Lippert Jack-It over the propane tank bike rack? It will hold two bikes. Then you will have room for the kayaks on the rear rack, but Tunce is right the kayak is too low in the picture displayed.

X2 for toy hauler or better get a house mover and bring everything along.
Wonder what insurance companies say about all the contraptions people put on their RV. The kayak is better off on the roof, you have a ladder anyway. And bikes on a simple sufficient bike rack.

I'd put the kayaks on the roof of the Sequoia, they are much easier to load onto the roof of an SUV than bikes are. We carry our two Kayaks on the roof with a simple Thule rack.

If you are concerned about the amount coming off the tongue, Put two of the bikes on a tongue mounted rack (Arvika or similar). That should counterbalance some of the weight on the rear bumper.

Once fully loaded, get over to CAT scale. I'd be concerned about all that extra weight and making sure that everything is distributed properly.

Like your current rack BTW - that looks really sturdy. How much does the rack itself weigh in at?

Picture added of our setup, shows Thule 'yak rack and Arvika frame + Thule Crosstrack bike rack

Kayak on the tv roof, and add water to the fresh tank to get tw back up.

Or maybe a couple bikes on a tongue rack. But you are probably pushing the max tw rating of your tv hitch, and possible the payload of the tv already.

What is your loaded tw, with and without the bikes on the rear?

Thanks for all the suggestions.
The rack by it self is about 60#. The angle iron and 2 receiver hitches mounted to the trailer is about 25#. The kayaks once strapped in doesn't drop below the lowest point of the hitch. 6 bikes can fit on rack or 6 kayaks but not at the same time. I could carry kayaks on Sequoia but it is a pain in the a$$ to load it and strap it down.
Toy hauler don't have floor plan we like and over priced.
Insurance don't care what is attached to RV/ trailer or truck as long as you paid the premium and don't make any claim.

6 kayaks? That will never fit on the roof of the Sequoia!

I don't really find our setup that bad. I do prefer to have help getting the kayaks lifted up to the roof, but have managed solo a couple of times. Strapping down does require standing on the door jambs. Takes about 10 minutes to fully load and secure our two. The only thing I dislike is that I can't open the tail once the rear rope is tied off; and I have forgotten to reattach it a couple of times after opening up back there.

Bike rack and 4 bikes and red wagon and 2/3 FW tank full my TW was 910# and without bike rack and water TW is 750# according to Sherline TW scale.
Cat Scale reading:
TV SA=3050#
TV DA=3880#

TV+TT SA=3340#
TV+TT DA=4500#
TV A=7300#
GCW=15140

Without water trailer would be at 7000#

So first off, what's the payload and GVWR of the Sequoia? I think you are quite overloaded. There's no way your rear axle is rated for 4500lbs and you are adding almost 300lbs to your front axle.

I suggest a bigger tow vehicle so you can safely tow your rig and also bring all your toys. Kayaks on the roof, bikes in the bed of the truck or perhaps even a front mounted receiver with a bike rack.

Looks like 10# being stuffed in a 5# bag.

My opinion is you are trying to carry too much stuff.

My suspicion is if you have 6 bikes, there there are 6 people; and 6 people in the sequoia plus TT tongue weight likely well exceed the limits of the sequoia. That BHBE isn't the lightest TW to begin with.

If this was my family, I would take two cars on the trip to distribute passenger and cargo weight to get back within the limits. With two cars it would be pretty easy to carry 2 kayaks and 2 bikes on one, with 4 bikes on the other.

Yes, I am taking my house and my garage with me camping. The Sequoia is a 8 passenger SUV. If there were 8 thin passenger 150# each,I would be at the weight rating. FAWR= 4000# and RAWR= 4250#.
