Sumo springs on 145bh...too much preload?

Hello again!

I just installed a set of sumo springs on our 2018 jay flight 145bh. Mine has the axle above the leafs (non Baja, not converted) and I ordered appropriate sumo set. The directions call for raising the frame and use spacers with goal of 1/4” to 1/2” pre-load (amount sumos compress down once release jack/jack stands) However, with absolutely no spacers, and quite a bit of elbow grease to jam them into place, I ended up with about 1.25” pre-load/compression. Ie the sumos were Maybe too large for the space between leaf and frame.

They look ok, and took a ride down rough road...noticeable improvement. The directions in sumo box have zero info in regards to this situation.

What are yalls opinion?

Thanks in advance sirs/ma’am’s !
