Super slow slide out 29RKS JAYFLIGHT

New battery GR27 12.90 volts
Connection cleaned same at the outside breaker block ( name ? )
Ground good , same reading at battery or on the frame
Slide out lubrification done
No problem to extend or retract on shore power
Sliding out ok on battery only
However Retract super slowly, sometimes stops and start to move again slowly on battery only .

I can understand that there is a very high load for the first foot of travel until the floor pass the lip on the floor but ....

Imho a new batt should be able to handle the 30amps draw , am I right.

If so why the slide out dont retract the way its supposed to be, especially for the first foot ?

I asked jayco for the elec schematic since i have no clue how its wired.

Lets try with you guys

Starting with shore power off,

using power at the battery only , the + leads go where ? to the converter ?

Than to the converter to the slide out motor ?

If so

I have hard time to figure out why ok on shore power and not on a fresh battery ... especially that the battery should be able to supply the 30amps or else needed ... help lol
.

Thanks to all, the conclusion is that I dont have a problem. I found the schematic for my power box / converter. All the result showed the correct voltage. So 1 GR27 batt. Even new and fully charged is barely capable to bring the slide out inside. Why better when plugged in ? Because the converter push a stable 13.6 volts compared to the batt by itself pushing 12.8 and dropping 1 volts under max load ... I am having a good day, all question answered ... thanks to all for your input
