I use the Progressive Industries EMS. I have the portable vs. permanent install, and use it whenever plugging the TT in to shore-power, including at home - it saved me from a power surge at home a couple of weeks ago.

Surge Guard.. I opted for the hardwired one. Things can disappear from the pedestal too easily..
