Surge Protector for a 30 Amp Travel trailer

Good day all,

I am looking for recommendations on a surge protector for a 30 amp travel trailer.

I have a 23ft Jayco Jayfeather travel trailer.

Thanks in advance.

Go for a Progressive Industries EMS - PT30X. Better than a simple surge protector.

+1 on the Progressive Industries EMS. I don't like to plug in anywhere, including at the house, without it.

I installed this in my 2011 Eagle 318RLS. Very pleased.

You don't just want a surge protector you want a EMS if you want the best protection possible for all your electrical devices. I went with the hardwired unit which is installed inside your trailer, simple to install, just plug in your trailer like normal, don't have to look for the portable unit, don't have to worry about theft and plugging it into a crappy campground receptacle that may damage it. https://www.amazon.com/Progressive-I...gateway&sr=8-1

Another vote for a Progressive Industries EMS unit. I installed the Progressive Industries 30AMP hard wired unit in our current trailer. I had a PI portable unit that I used on our last 2 trailers.

Another Progressive Ind fan. I’ve owned 2, a 30A pole mount and a 50A hard-wire, both EMS. Pole mount and hard-wire each have their benefits but I prefer the hard-wire.

So far I’ve been saved once that I know about so it’s worth every penny.
