If you do a search on gauges for the black and grey tanks, you will find they don't work. You can do all you want to try to make it not so but it is so. In a very short time like maybe the first time you use the toilet. It begins and it never stops, just gets worse. The important thing is that when you flush out your black tank, you put two or three gallons of fresh water back into it to avoid what is affectionately referred to as the Pyramid of poop.

Not sure what model you have but I have a 2013 Eagle 314BDS and the outside kitchen sink is plumbed into the black tank (not sure why they would do this but they did). The black tank on my wrig will backup into the outside kitchen sink BEFORE it backs up into the Toilet due to being the lowest point in the system (don't ask me how I know)

rtbreeves; in the RV industry it is illegal to plumb gray plumbing into the black plumbing. so look again and if so contact Jayco.

Calvin and Dawn

I haven't found ice to work well. I have had success with 1 cup Calgon liquid and 1 cup Dawn dish washing liquid and a bunch of water. Then let it soak a day or more and even better a couple hour drive to agitate. Then a good dump and 3 flushes with back flush hose. If it doesn't work first time try again. Good luck.
