What I just did was pull the vents out and checked how tight it was getting out. After getting the vent out I took some Gorilla tape and ran it around the collar and put the vent and collar back into the hole into the roof. It was a tight fit but have noticed that after doing that it seems that we are getting more cold air coming out the vents than before.

Just did this to my trailer, one vent was so far off it pushed the duct up and cracked it about 3”, taped the crack, then taped duct to ceiling, much better! Now I’m not cooling the space between the ceiling and roof.
