The waterfall on our campsite's back line.

The biggest drop is only 5'. But the amount of water over the rest of the rapids creates a zone of white noise.
Throw in sun-heated exposed bedrock and it is the best sleep in the world!

We were just there last weekend!! Although we have only been there twice now, Winhall Brook has easily jumped to the top of my favorite list!! Love this campground. Both times we were on the south side of the campground where you have to go over the iron truss bridge. Being down in the swimming hole next to the bridge as the cars go over the wooden decking definately is a unique sound! We can't wait until our next outing here!

Ok, back on topic [emoji4], I am generally an early riser, before the hustle and bustle of a fun filled day with the family, one of my favorite camping sounds is the sound of my coffee percolating over the hiss of the Coleman stove while sitting next to the snap, crackle and popping of a freshly started campfire at the crack of dawn with the chirping of birds echoing through the tranquil woods. Once the coffee is in hand, it is paradise ☕️.

Cheers!
