We ordered the Pinnacle 36REQS. I'm starting to REALLY wish I didn't order and just found something close on a lot somewhere. By the time I get it all of my vacation time will be over.

You and me both. I can't shift my vacation time at work because everyone else has already booked their dates for the summer. I planned every trip around getting this trailer cause the dealer told me in 18yrs they have never seen it take longer than 8 weeks. Shame on me, I should have known better.

I guess we live and learn. I hate to wait for anything, I don't know what I was thinking at that moment in time.

I am extremely impatient but this purchase was a very big one for us as a young family. We plan to have our new camper for as long as it will allow us. With that said, the amount of research we did to find the best camper for our family is worth the wait. We almost settled for a camper that I could go pick up right this minute but we didnt and I think itll be worth it. I know I'd regret not getting a whitehawk.

Everything seems to happen for a reason, in our case especially. Im in the process of running electric server for our camper at our cottage on the lake and hit a couple road blocks, this will give me a little extra time to get that done without stressing too much. Gotta look at the bright side.

Mike, do you folks still have your current fifth wheel or did you sell it?

You guys are all scaring me. I ordered on 4/1 and just booked a camping spot local to us for a maiden voyage for the first week of July. Thought that would be plenty of time. here's to hoping!!

I read an article today from Clark Howard that said trucking is a great industry to get into right now because there is a major shortage of truckers and companies are having trouble getting parts on time. Wonder if that has anything to do with the delays.

In my case I trusted the dealer and also thought there was no way a production factory could just slide all of their orders by two weeks or more. I don't mind waiting but I really don't like my plans being changed because others didn't plan properly. We have a very short summer in Oregon and missing out on a just a couple of weeks is really disappointing. Ok, enough of the doom and gloom.

Woo hoo! As far as we can tell, our 2016 White Hawk 23MRB was ordered today. We've been out of town, and came home to an e-mail dated 8 May that said they were ordering "next week," which I suppose could be anytime between now and the 15th, but we're hoping it was today. Our dealer said he'd keep us posted and let us know the "proposed delivery date." We're excited!

Yes we still have it and are able to use it. They wanted me to bring it in ASAP so they could try to sell it and all the while have me to continue to make the payments without having it?? I think not.

We did the same thing the following weekend after placing our order. My dealer just updated me today and said our trailer won't ship till the end of the month or the 1st week of June. It was supposed to be at the dealer by 5/15 at the latest. Looks like 6-8 weeks will be more like 10-12.

For those still waiting for their RV, I hope the time goes quickly! We just got ours yesterday. Now we are happy. But the sad part was it took 14 weeks from the day we ordered it until it arrived at the dealer on 5/4 (it rolled off the assembly line on 4/24). Just thought you all should know.

I called Jayco yesterday to get an idea of when ours is scheduled to arrive. I have the VIN already so she was able to look it up. We are still set for it to roll off the line on June 8, but she cautioned that it might still have to wait if not all the "parts" are in. I can't help but wonder what she meant by "parts." I asked her how long it takes to get the completed RV to WI and she said it depends on a lot of factors, like whether our dealer will go pick it up or if they schedule a driver. Sigh. We are trading in our current rig so we can at least still enjoy some camping until the new one arrives.

To put it in perspective, ours "rolled off the line" last Tuesday (5/5) but I found out that just today it was completed and assigned to shipping. When I asked about the delay, the lady said it was waiting on parts that were installed and completed today.

Unfortunately, our current rig is not available to us while we wait since it's being sold at a large consignment lot here in the Houston area. The only up-side is that our weather has been really awful lately otherwise we'd normally be camping.

Glad to hear yours will soon be at the dealer Quahog. Sorry to hear about all the bad weather you've been having out there. Hopefully the planets align and you get sunshine along with your new rig!
Mantygirl, I'd be curious to know what those parts are too.

maybe i misunderstood the lady when i called, when she told me it was "off the line" i assumed that meant it was pushed aside in the middle of production to complete other campers. from what you folks are saying there is a chance it is completed except for a couple parts they are waiting on?

hope im not getting too optimistic, lol.
