Just something to consider.
One can always run at 30 amps in a 50 amp RV - one just couldn't use the 2nd A/C. There are also adapters to get to 50 amp using the pole's 30 amp plus the pole's 20 amp sockets. No big deal.

Well, you learn something new everyday! I would prefer if Jayco gave the option of 50 amp service or a 30 amp and a separate 20 amp household plug. Its my experience that most parks that offer 30 amp also have a 20 amp household plug that would give you 50 total.

I am not sure that it works that way...or at least what I have been told.

You can buy the pig tails at CW that will plug into the 30 and 20 amp services. Not sure it gives you a true 50amp service?

Maybe they do work...Just remember a few years back a big discussion on the plugs on another forum.

I have only the 30amp service on my 28.5, but use one of the 30 to 50amp adapters. That seems to work pretty good.

They only work if used on "non GFI" 20 amp outlets.

Hey Grumpy, see you are from Cinn. You familiar with Lawrenceburg, Aurora, Rising Sun IN? Where my Smith clan is from.

I bought one of the 30 /20 adapters and when I tried it it didn't work... my air conditioner didn't turn on ... then I hooked the 50 to 30 dog bone to it and it worked fine so something at least in the 2015 338 rets doesn't jive with that adapter
