Question Thermostat on new trailer will not budge!

Hi folks, I have a small problem that I'm hoping someone on this forum will have an answer for.
Our brand new 195 SLX has a thermostat that has two levers, one top, one bottom. The top one controls your temperature, the bottom one the fan speed.
When we did the walk thru the guy said the top one was really hard to move but not to let that stop us from forcing it, so we thought okay that sounds doable.
Well, we have the darn thing home now and plan on taking it out for a short maiden voyage and I wanted to turn the temp way down because we don't need a furnace in our current heat wave.
Well, it will go down one short click and that's it. I have tried with all my strength to force it but that thing is not going anywhere... no where!
Any suggestions on what to do next besides call the dealer??
Thanks again for all your help!

On my 2015 195RB there is no fan speed control on the the thermostat - only an ON/OFF and Temperature. The top one is the ON/OFF and the bottom one is the temperature. The behavior of your top switch is exactly like mine - very hard to move and only two positions. With the switch over to the right it's OFF and to the left it's ON - and requires some effort. Also, on the top switch on mine it has "OFF" printed on the switch with an arrow pointing to the right. However, you almost can't read it without a magnifying glass. It sure sounds like you have the same thermostat as mine.

Mines 5 yrs. old and I still haven't moved it. I use a space heater and I'm fine with that!

Thanks TTAVASC! You have solved this one for me! I will get in there with a flashlight and my spectacles to see but I'm sure that's it!
I agree our units probably have the same thermostat!

Thank you too Tunce, we also have a space heater that we can use and likely will if we have a power site. But now that I know how the thermostat switch works I won't have heat when I don't want it... :-)

We had that same thermostat on ours and also had it on our previous pop-up. Hated that thing. So hard to turn on and off. We replaced it with a cheap residential thermostat (not all will work but if it take a battery it should) and it's pure bliss compared to what we have before. Especially being able to turn it to heat mode in cold weather and easily set a temp for the furnace to stay at. Could never easily set a decent temp on the old one.
