I was wondering if anyone has advice on repair of a slide out mechanism for a 2008 Jayflight 28 BHS. The assembly is under (part of the couch.) Recently the threaded shaft has come out of the fixed nut. I am pretty sure the nut has the threads messed up and I can't get it to thread back in. Looks like I am going to have to remove the complete mechanism (motor and all.) Looks pretty labor intensive.
Any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

If the nut is messed up they are still available for the RBW QDS-7009. Just search online... Manuals are also online available.

Dont hear or see those tip outside to often any more.

I wonder if a helicoil would work to fix the thread.

Maybe someone has posted a YouTube video on how to repair it.
