Tire cover question?

Want to buy tire covers for my Jayfeather. Manual says tires are 14". Not sure which tires covers will fit?

Most tire covers go by size of the tire not wheel size, measured the tire diameter and look somewhere like Amazon.

I think you are referring to the wheel size. I have 205/75R14 tires and the wheel diameter is about 26 inches. The small tire covers should work just fine for you...

Measure the tire across from tread to tread, then add 2 more inches. That's the size of cover you should get. Also, white covers keep the temps lower than black ones.

So perhaps the 27-29" will be perfect.

Mine needed a new cover a few weeks ago when I bought it, used something like this and the one I ordered based on it fit perfectly...not too lose and not too tight.

Calculate Tire Diameter

Yep, same size tire and 26" was perfect.

They sell them at Walmart 24-26" or 27-29". Should I go a little bigger so they aren't too tight?

I would go for the 24-26" since 26" is the right size. I would think you would want it a bit tight so it doesn't come off too easily.

Might as well piggyback this thread instead of starting a new one. I'm looking for a dual tire cover to fit my 2016 WhiteHawk 27DSRL. A 27"-29" cover is the right size, but I'm having trouble finding a cover to accommodate the wide stance axle. I would prefer the dual cover over singles as it will allow me to keep my BAL X-chocks out of sight and out of mind to would-be miscreants. Any help?

Just Google rv dual axle tire cover, many to choose from, Camping World and Amazon both have them along with many others.

I tried. I can't seem to find anything for the wide stance axles. I even ordered a set from CW hoping to get lucky, but they weren't wide enough and I wound up giving them to my buddy for his Cougar. Maybe I'm using a wrong keyword or something in my search.

Search for this model on Amazon, ADCO 3922. It comes in two different sizes, according to reviews the large one is about 60" in length.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm going to throw a tape measure on the TT when the rain stops here and look into both of these a bit further once I know my numbers. Thanks again.
