Tire pressure of load d tires vs c

I think I have a bent axle (I think) which caused me to go through 4 tires in one trip. Anyway replaced the old original Provider tires that came with it to Goodyear Endurance. The difference between the two load weighting is c and d. The provide were50 psi and the endurance max is 65. So what should I inflate to? The placard on my camper says 50 but it also says load c and I am using D.

Go by what's on the tire not on the TT since you upgraded tires. My TT also came with Load C tires max 50psi, I upgraded to Goodyear Endurance Load D 80psi which is where I always run the. if you run the new tires 15psi below max you will get a lot of sidewall flex which creates heat and not good for the tires.

I'm curious if the rim makes a difference when adding pressure beyond what the original tire called for. I'll probably upgrade to the Endurance when the time comes on my 2016 model TT and go to a D range. I seem to recall reading that some rims have a stamp on the inside that's visible once the tire is off listing their rating.

Most wheels are fine up to 80psi IF you install metal valve stems with the new tires.

Ideally inflate tt tires to there max listed tire pressure.

It would be a good idea to check the rims rating. Often, the pressure rating is stamped on the backside, sometimes inside the rim. I could not find my pressure rating, so I called jayco with my vin number.

My wheels were stamped 2150/5 2830/6 or something similar. I read that as max inflation for 5 bolt wheels is 65 and 6 bolt is 80 psi since the load limit corresponds exactly.
