Tire size and replacement question

Curious what size tires are on the new Jayco Jayfeather X213 and comparable units? I realized the other day (AFTER our 2500 mile vacation ) that the spare needs replacing (I had replaced all four tires once but not the spare). When I went in to the Goodyear store he told me the Marathons have been replace by Endurance, but that my 13" tire (185 80/13) is not made in that size. He mentioned he could get in a TowMax tire, but I have no knowledge of that tire.

So now I'm looking around wondering what to replace it with? Carlisle has a Sport Trail L/H 13" or a Radial Trail HD. Looking at my options??

Look at the Vehicle Certification label for the original tire size and the GAWR. Any replacement tire should be capable of supporting at least 55% of the GAWR.

I could offer more info if you provide the GAWR and original tire size and inflation as shown on the sticker.

If you don't plan to run the spare in rotation ( I don't know anyone who does on a trailer.) Then you just want something to get you down the road if your regular tire blows.

Based on that, I did not replace my Raineer spare when I bought my Goodyears. I do keep a cover over it and check pressure regularly.

PS to anyone who has a spare in your car or truck Have you checked it's pressure lately??? I did after owning my car for 3 years yep 18.5 PSI, not 36!

The spare under out Tundra now has a remote hose connection going to the back bumper.....so yup.
Got tired of having to drop the spare every time to check pressure. I still let it down in the spring to look at it, and clean the crud off the wheel from winter.

I'd go with the Radial Trail HD. They have served me well. I'm sure the other would be fine for a spare.

I installed by extra TPM sensor on my spare. I have a spare TPM sensor as I consider them critical for safe operation. If any of my regular sensors on my ground tires fail I have a spare on hand.
I also carry a couple spare TPMS batteries.
