Changed the tires on my '13 last year. Went with the new Carisle HD. Probably have 6K miles on them and still look new. No signs of wear on any tire. Like that they're speed rated to 83mph. Also went to air them up yesterday and didn't need to add any. Last time I added air was back in September. Very pleased with these tires

The relatively new (now) GY Endurance tires came on my 2017 23RB as OEM. I put over 5k miles on them this past camping year. So far, so good. They do not look used yet. I make sure they are aired up to 65 psi.

By the way, all Endurance tires are at least LRD, not the old standard LRC.

It will take a few more years before we know for sure the Endurance is the tire we hope it to be.

My Jayco came with Endurance tires and the sticker on the trailer says inflate to 50#.

Maxxis tires also get nothing but praise on here and have been around around for a long time. When I need to replace my tires I will go with either Maxxis or Endurance.

I have the new Carlisle HD's on my trailer and so far, I'm satisfied. Seem to track good and ride well. No complaints.

On my 2017 23RB's sticker is 65 psi which matches the sidewall max psi # on the tires.

I wonder if your trailer got a last minute substitution with the Endurance tire,
but the sticker on the trailer was done with the old C rated tires in mind.

But regardless of the sticker on the trailer, if my trailer had the Endurance tires with D rating, I'd air them up to 65 psi, assuming the rims were good for that pressure.

I concur with the Carlisle HD's. If I were replacing the off brand Chinese tires with new ones, I either put Carlisle HD's, GY Endurance, or maybe Maxxis. And they would be load range D also.

I will say the only tire I've ever had fail was a Maxxis on my old trailer. They had a lot of miles, but I was good about keeping them at 50 psi (load range C tires), and were about 3.5 years old. There was no cracks in the rubber yet. However the steel belts broke. Luckily, I noticed the break while stopped to make an emergency run to the TT's bathroom facility. Other wise they'd have come apart at highway speeds and done a lot of damage to the trailer.

somewhere on the forum someone posted the link to the pressure recommendations for the load and the tire... it was max pressure for max load... but a E rated tire only needs to be at max for max load.. but load ratings are lower for lower pressure on the same tire...

RV Tire Safety: Load Inflation table

according to the table if you have GYEndurance tires a 65lb tire pressure D rated tire (2150) and an E rated tire at 50lbs air pressure (2150) are the same.. maybe a better ride? I don't know.. I am going to go up to 65lbs on my E rated ones..

I will check my tires to see what pressure is recommended.

Shop around. I was given full retail plus mount/balance by 3 Goodyear dealers. The fourth gave me a total price below retail, and it included mount/balance. Also ask about rebates. If you do use a GY dealer, check out their credit card. Can get 6 months no interest on 4 tire purchase.

Typically, D-rated tires require 65 psi under max load, E-rated 80 psi, and G-rated 110 psi.

E-rated (80 psi) 235/80/16 Good Year Endurance tires came with our new Jayco Eagle. They're made in the USA and appear to be a quality tire. For those who may not be a Good Year fan, suggest looking at the numerous "LT" (light truck) E-rated tires sold by all the major tire manufacturers (Michelon, Bridgestone, etc.). Just make sure the max load rating (each tire X 2) is equal to or greater than what's needed to support each of your trailer's axles. "LT" tires have an excellent reputation---even when used on a travel trailer.

How long are my rainier tires good for? Picked up the trailer in May 2016 and it was built in November of 2015. Tires look fine...
