Question Tires worn out early

Had tt 17xz 1 year. 3500 approx. miles. Dealer says it was overloaded but we did not over load took care not to . ? Axel problem. Dealer says buy new tires and see if they wear out the same. By that time our warrantee will be off the axel. ? Advice.

I have a little over 2000 miles on mine and they look like new. I am running Maxxis ST185/80/R13.

New on the lot it had cracked Duro tires. They were replaced before we would sign the paperwork.

What kind of wear pattern do you have?

There are cracks in the side wall of the spare tire which was never used. The tire size which we changed out is st185/80d13. They are worn out on inside tread after one year and 3500 miles. ? If an axel problem.

We had factory delivered tires on our new trailer. Discovered they only cover the weight of the tt empty. Difficult size to get!!! If must replace. Purchased st205/7514 which are a size larger and fit fine on the tt. These are rated for 1760 lbs each. Jayco should tell new owners that tires which come on a new trailer are inadequate for normal use !

There are many configurations, but typically trailer axles on TTs and/or 5ers have a bow or arch in them by design. This bow, or arch, in the axle will give the tires a little positive camber. Without this positive camber the tires will wear on the inside.
