Toilet filling up with water when it is not being flushed

hey there,
I will save u all the long backstory. We have a 2012 26bh. The last 2 trips when we are hooked to the campground water via "city water" connection or if we leave the pump on and water tank full...the toilet overflows!!! It slowly fills up and scares us...lol....when we empty it a huge air bubble pops up which is probably normal. Anyway anyone know what the heck i should do? Also i have a water pressure manager thingy on the hose to the city water intake.
Thank u all for this amazing forum!!!!

Sounds like a bad valve on the toilet.

Gorgeous campsite.

Sounds like the water valve seat is leaking. I have never pulled one apart, so I am not sure if they are rebuild-able, but I doubt it. Probably need to replace the mechanism that hides behind the toilet.

We had a similar situation with our Hybrid. The valve on the back of the toliet was not shutting off completely and the toiliet would slowly fill. Unfortunately for us we were remote camping and our valve housing split before I locate a dealer could pickup a part and replace it. It sprayed water all the bathroom floor and into the kitchen before we could shut off the outside spigot.
