Toilet Swap? Preparing for a new Dometic 320 Throne

My trailer is a 2022 22rb. It's new.
We have never used the toilet/tanks.

Before our first trip in early 2024 I intend on swapping out the plastic toilet. No plastic toilet for me or my kid.

My choice will be the Dometic 320.
The 310 is less $ and ceramic, but weird with that 'no lip' bowl design.

My current toilet is the Dometic 300.

Does anyone know if the 320 will swap out relatively easy 'toilet for toilet?'

IMO, you shouldn't have any problems. The "connections" are all pretty standard. The water connections sometimes are not, but those are easily solved with readily available off-the-shelf parts (I needed a slightly longer supply hose).

I did the same thing in our MH. Dealer gave me a gift card as part of the deal, and I took it inside and bought a new toilet before we left the PDI. My only problem was the bigger bowl was a tight fit in the corner where the toilet is in my floor plan. Looking at your floor plan, you should have no issues.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah, the toilet placement in my floorpan is one of the reasons why I chose that floorpan in the first place; lots of room in the bathroom.

That's a nice floor plan indeed! Gotta love a larger bathroom.

One of the only things I miss about my 28BHBE is the shower. That shower was almost the same size as the one in my home. In my MH, the bathroom "straddles" the main path from the "kitchen" area to the rear bedroom. The shower is MUCH smaller, but the area where the toilet and sink are is adequate, not "roomy" by any stretch, but it works.
