Tongue jack

Well my recently purchased Jayco Hummingbird's
LCI power tongue jack sounds like it's dying. Should I get another electric one or go manual?
Thanks

I would go electric.
I had an LCI dye on me too, I replaced it, took about 20 minutes total and the new one last a couple years at least, I sold the trailer and it was still working fine.

Our power jack can be used manually too.
I thought all electrical jacks had manual back up

I use my electric in conjunction with my WDH. My Andersen has great sway control and is a great fit for smaller trailers even if you only need it for sway control.

Well I took my LCI jack apart. Greased the threaded rod and reassembled. Reinstalled on tongue, made sure all 3 bolts and star washers are secure. Made a new crimp where jack connects to wiring. Works great now.

That's great!! Not only did you save a few hundred bucks on a new electric tongue jack, but you learned valuable experience on electric tongue jack maintenance. Kudos
