Tongue Jack Up do Down

Perhaps a silly question:

Should the tongue jack remain down when on a campsite. I have always used it to level the TT fore and aft and then use the scissor jacks for stability only, not to totally support the trailer.

Proper?

Tongue jack supports weight of TT tongue when leveling. Stabilizers just keep the TT from rocking. Leave the tongue jack down when camping.

Tongue Jack down. The stabilizers are only for the stability of the RV and should not be used as Jacks.

Improper.

Stabilizers will buckle fore/aft, and you'll find the trailer hitch in the mud if you continue this.
