Took delivery on my 314bds

I ordered it in November and I finally picker her up. This TT is lovely and I can't wait to use it other then taking friends and family to the storage lot to see it.

I am new to owning a TT and what are some things that I need for it, besides the obvious of kitchen stuff, etc. Any special tools I should keep on hand. Any "parts" to keep around?

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Congrats on the new trailer! Post some pics when possible. As for the must haves, I keep going back to this thread whenever that comes up, from the "Top ten must haves" thread. Opinions can and do vary.

Aside from the thread that Crabman pointed you to, I keep a small set of tools in the TT for fixing things that might go wrong. This consists of a set of sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, crescent wrench, needle nose pliers, gorilla tape, zip ties, etc. It's just a good assortment of things to have handy so you can handle whatever might come along. I also have a torque wrench that I keep in one of the storage compartments for checking lug nuts periodically.

One item you probably don't have in the home tool box is a square ended screwdriver. Look at the screws in the new TT and you will see the size.

New Camper Stuff...

Some items to consider...
Quick connects for your waterhose
2 way faucet connector
a good water filter inline between hose and camper, if camper is not equipped with one
a couple firelogs for when the wood is all wet
Some small organizing totes to give all those little things where you can find them and stay organized

Enjoy....
